The Oak and I

I’m present to the oak
or is it present to me?
So healthy
full
and green.

Really a bit unkempt.
No time to tidy up
during this summer of growth.

I gaze at the oak.
Or does it gaze at me?
Both aware of a mysterious connection
a shared field of energy
a nourishing flow of love.

We both know
the oak and I
we are One
in the divine.
So healthy
full
and green.
